Orphan Sets Up On The Bay!

Ok my bead stash has been cleaned, sorted and photographed. Here's the link in case you would like to take a peek: http://search.ebay.com/_W0QQsassZcalamitysclanQQhtZ-1QQfrppZ50QQfsopZ1QQfsooZ1QQrdZ0 . I also have a large set of Terra on Sea Green that turned out really well. They just sparkle in the sun with lots of hues of blues and purples. I like the effect so much that I have done another Terra set that should be up this week. These are on a base of gorgeous ASK Berry glass.

Another Day At The Office

If you're checking out my Ebay auctions and wondering where they are it's because I'm stuck at the office, again. I don't mean that I'm busy, I'm not. In fact I have almost nothing to do except hold down the fort while everyone else is on vacation. It wouldn't be too bad if someone would just CALL or COME IN! Please. I could be home making beads. I do have my orphan auctions starting tomorrow at 4:00 PST on Ebay. Take a look if you get a chance. There are almost 1000 beads split into 11 separate auctions. This is a stash I built up over the last several years. My daughter, Ryan, offered to help clear things out so half the money from these auctions will go for her to take on her trip to Seattle next month. She and her boyfriend, Sylvester, are very excited to go. They were not able to go with the rest of the family on our cruise next month (Yea! Mexico!) I won this trip to Seattle on a local radio station and I was able to transfer it to her name. Seattle, WATCH OUT!, Ryan is on her way!

Check it out and I hope to have a couple new sets up by Sunday.

Productive weekend!

I spent all weekend making beads, packaging beads, cleaning beads and stringing beads. Shipped quite a few mandrels too. I am in the process of cleaning out my bead stash of hundreds of beads! Some are orphans and some are seconds. Some are beads that I just lost interest in. They have been sorted by color (kind of) and will be up on the bay soon. They are pretty large sets ans I'll be starting them probably at .50 or 1.00 per bead, depending on the size. I have just sold an orphan lot of focals but there are still a lot of 16-17mm beads in this mix, great for focals.
I left my lightbox in the rain this weekend so I have to make another before I can take pics. It's a great cheap light box made from a cardboard box. Email me if you're interested in making one for yourself. Hopefully those sets will be up this week. Happy beading!

Sacred Art Beads New Blog!

Yea! Time to start fresh. Sacred Art Beads is my new website. I have discontinued Trifles and Trinkets. That was an old website with what I felt like was just an old-fashioned name. In the beginning it was my intention to sell just jewelry. As I continued to make jewelry I also began making lampwork beads for my own use. I have found that I enjoy beads more than making jewelry. I have been selling almost exclusively on Ebay but it my goal to also make enough to stock on my website. The other site I have been working on is my BeadArtists.org gallery. Here is the link if you are interested in seeing some of my work: http://www.beadartists.org/Gal904_Sacred_Art_Beads_Gallery.asp.
I recently hit the top 100 galleries on this site. Boy, was I surprised! I honestly thought it was someone else that had taken my name, lol. Duh. It was a very nice surprise that that many people took an interest in my stuff. Thanks guys!
